Growing up, growing old or what?

We all once were kids. Some were chubby, some were skinny, some were adorable, some were mischievous, and there goes a never ending list... But did we accept things the way we do now? Most of the answers will be a No. And when asked why, the most self-soothing answer I get is Life changes and so do we. Another question that lines up is Have we really changed? The answer is always yes and I do agree with it. All that comes up in my head is did we actually want to? and then there's a perfect answer, NO.
None of us would grow up if we had the chance to. It's truly said that there's a thin line between growing up and growing old. However, all of the grown ups or grown old-s choose to ignore it.
Growing up leads to fulfillment of responsibilities, earning money for a living or better word -surviving, blah blah and blah... while on the other hand, growing old just is physical and mark the words, we are still young by heart if we grow old whereas growing up leads to one's mental growth as well.
Whatever is the say, the choice has always been ours. We are the ones who choose whether to grow up or grow old. Imagining how perfect this life would be if we grew up and grew old on the same pace is in itself a joy then realize how enormously wonderful it would be if it happened for real.
But again, the choice is yours... Be wise.
